Job Summary You are an experienced Journeyman Ironworker with industrial construction experience. Your structural steel rigging and connecting experience will be an asset to the project, which runs on a 10/4 shift rotation schedule with work expecting to last until Fall 2018. Responsibilities Erect steel for structural steel buildings and structural steel panelization Bolt up and impacting Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts Rigging and setting of building modules Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment May perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Must possess a Journeyperson Ironworker Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing Must possess a valid CSTS 09 (Construction Safety Training Systems) certification Must possess a valid Fall Protection certification Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid CODC Rights & Responsibilities certification Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision Work Conditions 10 days on and 4 days off shift rotation, working 10 hours per day LOA and travel allowance is provided Benefits provided by CLAC Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions Ledcor Industrial offers an integrated range of services from construction, engineering, and maintenance to pipe fabrication and module assembly.
